👥 How many players do we need to start?
Seven players are on court per team. You must have at least one male and one female. No more than three males can be on court at once.

🔄 Can we sub players in and out?
Yes, at any time during play. Subs need an Urban Rec account and must sign the latest waiver.

⏰ How long is the game?
Four quarters of eight minutes each, with short breaks in between and at half time.

🎯 How does scoring work?
One point for goals inside the circle, three points from outside the circle but within the goal third. Double Points apply in one quarter per team.

✂️ How does the game start?
Captains play scissors paper rock to decide who gets the first centre pass and their Double Points quarter.

📦 What is the centre pass?
It starts each quarter and follows every goal. The ball must be caught in the centre third. Centre passes alternate between teams.

🏀 Who can shoot and from where?
Only the Goal Shooter and Goal Attack can score. They can shoot from inside the circle or outside within the goal third.

🚫 Is contact allowed?
No. Netball is a non contact sport. Physical interference like pushing or holding is not allowed.

👣 What is stepping?
After catching the ball, your first landed foot must stay planted or be lifted but not re-grounded. Sliding, hopping, or dragging it is not allowed.

🕒 How long can I hold the ball?
You must pass or shoot within three seconds. Holding it too long is a violation.
