๐Ÿ‘ฅ How many players are on a team?
Games are played with five players on the court per team, including the goalkeeper. Each team must have at least two male and two female players. The fifth player can be any gender.


๐Ÿ”„ Can we sub players during the game?
Yes, you can make substitutions at any time during play. Subs must have an Urban Rec account and have signed the latest waiver.


โฐ How long are games?
Games are played in two halves of 18 to 20 minutes, with a short break at halftime.


โœ‚๏ธ How does the game start?
Captains play scissors paper rock to decide who starts with the ball. The other team starts with the ball in the second half. Kick offs are taken forward from the centre mark.


๐ŸŽฏ How does scoring work?
Each goal is worth one point. After a goal, the team that conceded restarts with the ball from halfway.


๐Ÿงค What can the goalkeeper do?
The keeper must stay in the semi-circle area and can only use hands or arms inside that space. Back passes to the keeper cannot be picked up. Goal rolls replace goal kicks and must be played along the ground.


๐Ÿšซ Are slide tackles allowed?
No. Slide tackling is not allowed and results in an indirect free kick. Depending on the situation, it may lead to removal from the game.


โšฝ Is the ball ever out of play?
The ball is only out if it goes over the fence or into the back netting. The host decides if it is playable. There are no corner kicks.


๐Ÿ›‘ What fouls should we avoid?
Street Soccer is non contact. No tripping, pushing, holding, striking, or arguing. Charging or dangerous play near walls is also not allowed.


๐Ÿ“ How are free kicks handled?
All free kicks are indirect and must touch another player before a goal can be scored. They are taken from the spot of the foul.
